# Translate text in YayMail

If there is a text added by a third-party plugin and it is not automatically translated, please make sure that the plugin has the **pot** file, then we can use a Translate plugin to translate the text you want.

For example, you can see the text below which has not been translated:

<figure><img src="/files/Wd6unlJWYOZbrF72NRM6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Please follow these steps to use the [Loco Translate](https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/) plugin to translate it.

1. Go to Loco Translate > Plugin > Select the plugin containing the text you want to translate

<figure><img src="/files/fM5PPKhTGfyXrJ3qVGsK" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

2. Select the language you want to translate

<figure><img src="/files/csgXRaXafKe9JaVk2Tfq" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

3. Select the text you want to translate and enter the translation string into the language input box

<figure><img src="/files/vMe4s6ZO6TXhiPyGgwiW" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

4. Save the file and check again with YayMail, you will see the translated text.

*Happy translating!*

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.yaycommerce.com/yaymail/integrations/translate-text-in-yaymail.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
