# Shortcodes

YayMail comes with several shortcodes that can be used to insert content inside the email templates.

{% hint style="info" %}
The shortcodes provided are **template specific**.

So, as per how it works in each third-party WooCommerce extension, only the information provided in the original email will show in the corresponding email template of YayMail.
{% endhint %}

In YayMail builder, you have plenty of shortcodes in the list here. Just copy and paste it wherever you want.

You also can see the list of shortcodes here.

When a third-party plugin uses WooCommerce order meta to add its information, you can display it in YayMail by going to Shortcode > Order Meta. Please select a **Real Order** that contains this information to view the corresponding shortcodes. These shortcodes will not appear when using a **Sample Order.**
