## **Local/ staging sites**

Working on a local or staging environment? YayCommerce license keys fully support development sites without counting them toward your activation limit. This means you can safely test, build, and refine your website before going live, while still keeping track of activations. To make sure your site qualifies as a local or staging environment, check out this guide: <https://docs.yaycommerce.com/manual/licensing/local-development>
