Product Bundle

Product Bundle rule typically refers to a promotional rule where customers are offered a discount when they purchase a specific combination or bundle of products together.

  1. This sub-tab allows you to set the rule methods for the Product Bundle Rule.

  2. This sub-tab allows you to enable/disable the following options: Show offer description in product page (show this description only when conditions match); Show tooltip on cart item price, Schedules and Usage limits.

  1. Quantity: Define the number of items from products that must be purchased for the bundle to apply.

  2. Pricing type: There are 3 types of pricing methods in this rule.

    • Fixed Discount: A fixed amount off for each product price in the bundle.

    • Percentage Discount: A percentage off for each product price in the bundle.

    • Flat Price: A fixed price for each individual product in the bundle.

  1. Pricing value: This typically refers to the specific amount or price that a product or bundle is assigned during a promotion.

  2. Maximum value: This sets an upper limit on the discount that can be applied to a product even if the calculated discount would otherwise exceed that amount.

  3. Using formula: This allows for advanced pricing configurations where discounts or pricing for bundles can be calculated using custom formulas. This provides flexibility in setting up promotions where the price of the bundle is determined based on specific conditions, product quantities, or custom discount strategies.

Example: quantity: {n}*2, pricing: {n}*10 => Buy 2 items get 10$ discount. 4 items get 20$ discount, etc. Interpretation: {n} is the time when the bundle is purchased. '2' is the number of items in the bundle. '10' is discount pricing value.

  1. Affected items: There are 3 options for you to choose from, depending on which suits your pricing strategy.

  • Single item.

  1. Apply discount to only first matching product: This option means a discount will apply only to the first product that meets the criteria, even if multiple qualifying products are added to the cart.

  2. Buy product: This field let you add the products, which you would like to apply the rule such as: Product category, product tag, product attribute, etc...

Example: Buy any 3 items, and pay just $10 for each.

Buy 3 items, each one will be $10
