# Product fee

This rule type provides flexible ways to add extra fees to products on your WooCommerce store. You can set up product fee rules for additional charges, such as handling fees, environmental fees, or other custom fees that fit your business needs. Then, it gives you the option to select product categories, names, variations, tags, prices, or specific products that are affected by this rule.

### **Types of Pricing**

There are **2 types of pricing methods** in this rule.&#x20;

* Fixed discount
* Percentage discount

1. This is a sub-tab that will allow you to see the 2 methods of Product Fee Rule.
2. This subtab will allow you to enable/disable the following options: Show the offer description on the product page (Show this description only when conditions match), and show the tooltip on the cart item price, schedules, and usage limits.
3. This subtab will allow you to set the condition for applying the Product Fee Rule, either to have it applied to All/Any of the set conditions. (PRO version).

### **Use Case for more details**

For example, You set a rule to add a fee of about 5% when customers buy a computer and use “Direct bank transfer” payment method.&#x20;

* Step 1: Set up the fee amount and apply it to specific products or categories.

**Note**: When you tick the checkbox, this rule just applies to the first product which the customer adds to the cart.

* Step 2: Configure the conditions to determine when the product fee will be applied.
