# How To Update YayPricing

1. First, you need to [**"deactivate"** and **"delete"**](https://docs.yaycommerce.com/yaypricing/getting-started/uninstall-and-delete) the current YayPricing plugin.
2. Then, **"re install"** the updated version of the plugin and that’s it!

**Note:**

If you follow these steps to install new updates, then all your currently active settings from the old version would be preserved and restored.
