
The Email section in YayReviews empowers you to fully customize the content and style of your Reminder and Reward emails — two essential touchpoints in your customer journey.
Whether you're encouraging customers to leave product reviews or rewarding them for their feedback, these email templates give you the flexibility to tailor your message, tone, and design. With built-in dynamic shortcodes and a live preview, you can craft engaging emails that not only feel personal but also drive real results — more reviews, stronger trust, and increased customer loyalty.
(1). Reminder: Allows you to customize the Reminder email template.
(2). Reward: Allows you to customize the Reward email template.
(3). Email subject: Allows you to customize the subject line of the email that customers will see in their inbox.
(4). Email heading: Allow you to customize the heading of the email that customer will see in their mail.
(5). Email content: This allow you to customize the email content, you can change text, font size, font style, color,...
(6). Shortcode: Below the content editor, you’ll find a list of supported shortcodes that automatically insert dynamic customer or site data into the email:
{customer_name}
– Displays the customer’s name{site_title}
– Displays your website name{review_products}
– Displays the list of purchased products needing review
Use these codes to personalize emails and increase engagement.
(7). Reset template: Click this button to restore the default email content. Useful when you want to discard all changes and start fresh with the original template provided by the plugin.
(8). Preview mode: This section allows you to preview how your email will look on different devices

Desktop View: Default mode showing how the email appears on a computer screen.
Mobile View: Click the mobile icon to simulate how the email will display on a smartphone.
Use this feature to ensure your email is responsive and visually appealing on all screen sizes before sending it to customers.
(9). Send test mail: This button allows you to send a test version of the email to your own email address.

It’s useful for:
Checking layout and formatting
Verifying dynamic content (e.g. shortcodes)
Testing how the email displays in different email clients (Gmail, Outlook, etc.)
Tip: Always send a test email before saving and activating your template to ensure everything looks and works as expected.
