The Stock Scarcity feature helps create urgency by showing customers when product stock is running low. This encourages faster purchase decisions and helps increase conversion rates.
This screen allows you to configure how stock alerts are displayed, where they appear, and which products they apply to.
Configure when the stock scarcity indicator should be displayed.
Show when stock is at or below
Set the stock quantity threshold that triggers the scarcity notification.
For example:
If set to 10, the alert will appear when product stock is 10 items or fewer.
Choose how the stock scarcity information is displayed.
Show alert text: Display a message indicating the remaining stock quantity.
Show progress bar: Display a visual progress bar showing remaining stock levels.
You can enable one or both options.
Customize the messages displayed to customers when stock is low.
Default Message
This message appears when stock reaches the defined threshold.
Placeholder:
{stock} – Displays the current remaining stock quantity.
Urgent Threshold
Set a lower stock level that triggers a more urgent message.
For example:
If set to 5, the urgent message will appear when stock reaches 5 items or fewer.
This message is displayed when stock reaches the urgent threshold.
4. Progress Bar
Customize the visual appearance of the stock progress bar.
Choose the color representing the remaining stock level.
Background Color
Choose the background color of the progress bar.
Calculate percentage from "fixed number"
Enable this option to calculate the progress bar percentage based on a fixed stock quantity instead of dynamic stock levels.
5. Display Location
Control where the stock scarcity indicator appears.
Position on Product Page
Choose where the indicator is displayed, such as:

Select where the indicator will appear:
6. Product Targeting
Choose which products the feature applies to.
All products – Apply the feature to all products.
Specific categories – Apply only to selected product categories.
Specific products – Apply only to selected products.
Exclude Products
Search and select products that should not display stock scarcity notifications.
The Live Preview panel on the right side shows how the stock scarcity alert will appear on your store. This allows you to test messages and progress bar appearance before saving changes.
Click Save Changes to apply your settings.
