# How To Update YaySwatches

1. First, you need to **"deactivate"** and **"delete"** the current YaySwatches plugin.
2. Then, **"re install" by uploading** the new/updated version of the plugin and that’s it!

**Note:**

If you follow these steps to install new updates, then all your currently active settings from the old version would be preserved and restored.
