# Upgrade your license

Log in to <https://yaycommerce.com/dashboard/#license-key> and look for **License Details**.

If your plugin is a licensed product and provides upgraded plans, you will see **View Upgrades** option.

Next, please choose the plan you wish to upgrade to and click **Upgrade License**.

At checkout, you'll pay the difference between the plan you currently have a subscription for, and the price of the plan you wish to upgrade to.&#x20;

Currently, we don't support time-based proration, but only **cost-based proration**.

Cost-based calculation is a type of pseudo-proration where the value of an upgrade is calculated based on the **cost difference** between the current and new licenses.

In case you have a coupon that can be applied to your current plugin, you can use it during your upgrade checkout, too.
