#### Oct 8, 2026 - Version 2.1.0

* New: Brandy mark on inspector controls - every panel and option the theme adds to the block editor carries a small Brandy badge; hover it to see the attribution, click to open the docs.
* New: Custom CSS for the header and footer builder - every section, row, element and the off-canvas panel takes its own CSS, scoped with a `selector` placeholder and previewed live in the Customizer.
* New: Spacing highlight in the Customizer - hover or adjust any padding/margin control and the preview tints the affected area with pixel labels, DevTools style.
* New: Floating header card - a header row can paint and round its constrained container and offset it from the top.
* New: Scallop edge family for image shapes - bottom, top & bottom, left, right and all sides, with size and depth tunable via CSS variables.
* New: Image shapes now apply to groups too, plus Drop and two edge shapes, a Circle badge style for groups, and an Outline text style for headings and paragraphs.
* New: Layer (z-index) field in Display Settings.
* New: Optimizing images step in the starter-site import wizard - demo images are imported without sub-sizes so product batches stay fast on shared hosting, then a final batched step generates only the sizes the theme uses, with progress, retry and skip like the products step; images that could not be optimized are listed on the Complete screen and retried on the next import.
* New: Links inside the HTML header/footer element get the same sliding underline as the Links element.
* New: Filters let plugins short-circuit or override the template chosen by display conditions.
* New: Grouped-pill slider controls - arrows and dots on a frosted plate floating over the slide.
* New: Sliding underline hover effect in the off-canvas menu.
* New: Account element links to the Bookster customer dashboard on booking sites without WooCommerce.
* New: Hashed menu direction.
* New: Support for WooCommerce native swatches.
* Improved: Header and footer builder setting labels rewritten in plain language.
* Improved: Account, Cart and Wishlist icon pickers list bold and outline icons side by side - the style toggle is gone and saved choices migrate automatically.
* Improved: Generated header and footer CSS is about half the size - breakpoints no longer restate desktop values.
* Improved: Global Button Settings store only the values that differ from the theme, the Ghost variation gets its own colours, and WooCommerce buttons preview exactly like the frontend.
* Improved: Empty cart page redesigned - icon, heading, Return to shop button and a New in store slider.
* Improved: Live search results always show result images and the View more link; the header dropdown is now the single results layout.
* Improved: Submenu active items always use the underline style.
* Improved: Site background, foreground, list surfaces and post-term pill colours derive from Global Styles, so starter sites follow their palette.
* Improved: Button hover colours are stored in WordPress 7.1's native block states, so the editor shows them.
* Improved: Single product thumbnail spacing.
* Improved: Performance - header and footer templates are stored one per option instead of all in one, the generated builder stylesheet is cached, block-style and single-product stylesheets load only on pages that use them, the editor data layer no longer loads on the frontend, product loops make far fewer lookups, and the theme no longer opens a PHP session, so pages are cacheable again.
* Improved: The display-conditions toggle explains what it does and that a template assigned directly to a page always wins.

* Fixed: Currency switcher ignoring its Selector styling and stretching to the full column width.

* Improved: Header, footer and generated CSS caches now purge automatically on save, including WP Rocket and object cache (Redis).
* Improved: The post editor only parses patterns for the page you are looking at.
* Improved: Box shadow controls can be requested per block from block.json.
* Improved: Patterns refreshed across the library, with search keywords in the inserter.
* Updated: Compatible with WP 7.1 - responsive styles now use WordPress' native viewport states, while existing sites keep working on the legacy settings with no re-editing.
* Updated: Block hover styles now run through WordPress 7.1's state styles pipeline.
* Updated: Typography and grid span controls are now per-device in WordPress' own panels.
* Updated: Per-device hiding now uses WordPress' built-in block visibility instead of the theme's own control.
