Menus

The Brandy theme provides options to customize and manage the menus on your website.

These settings allow you to define the structure and location of menus to enhance navigation and usability.

Create New Menu:

  • Button: Allows you to create a new menu. You can name the menu and then add items to it.

1. Menus Selection

  • Menu Name:

    • Field: Name of the selected menu. In the example, it is named "Main Menu".

  • Add Items:

    • Button: Click to add new items to the menu. This can include pages, posts, custom links, categories, etc.

  • Reorder:

    • Button: Allows you to change the order of the items in the menu by dragging them to the desired position.

  • Menu Locations:

    • Primary Menu: Checkbox to set the menu as the primary menu.

    • Secondary Menu: Checkbox to set the menu as the secondary menu.

    • Header Menu 1 & 2: Checkboxes to set the menu as one of the header menus.

    • Footer Menu 1 & 2: Checkboxes to set the menu as one of the footer menus.

  • Menu Options:

    • Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu: Checkbox to enable the automatic addition of new top-level pages to the menu.

    • Delete Menu: Button to delete the current menu.

2. Menu Locations

  • Primary Menu:

    • Dropdown: Select which menu to display in the primary location. Option to edit the current menu or create a new one.

  • Secondary Menu:

    • Dropdown: Select which menu to display in the secondary location. Option to edit the current menu or create a new one.

  • Header Menu 1 & 2:

    • Dropdowns: Select menus to display in the header locations. Option to create new menus if none exist.

  • Footer Menu 1 & 2:

    • Dropdowns: Select menus to display in the footer locations. Option to create new menus if none exist.

Publish: Make sure to click "Publish" after making changes to save and apply the updated settings.
